The New i-get 50cc Engine

The new 50 cc engine is a concentrate of technology with electronic injection (for the first time on a Vespa 4-stroke 50 cc engine) and 3-valve distribution (2 intake and 1 exhaust), regulated to optimise performance and contain fuel consumption.

With improved fuel delivery and starting guaranteed in all temperatures, the new 50 cc engine features a barometric pressure sensor for constant monitoring of carburation to suit riding conditions. The engine complies with the EURO 4 emissions standard.

The New Engine Family

Italian Green Experience Technology: i-get. Behind the acronym is a new approach to the design, development and production of the powertrain. The goal is to increase the efficiency of each element in order to maximise performance and reduce consumption and emissions, giving the Vespa user a new riding experience.

Every detail, from the exhaust to the internal design of the transmission casing to the new air filter, has been re-thought out for a smooth, silent, comfortable ride. The new engine, with 3 valves per cylinder, electronic injection and air cooling, is the state of the art in this segment.
